How Gunmen Attacked Passengers In Osun | READ FULL DETAILS
Four passengers have reportedly sustained serious injuries as they were attacked by gunmen bearing arms while on transit in Osun State.

This was reported by the Western Nigeria Security Network Agency, Amotekun Osun.

According to a source, the vehicle was ambushed along the Old Ila-Orangun/Ijabe road by gunmen who shot sporadically into the air.

while the attack was being perpetrated, a passerby informed men of Osun Amotekun, which prompted them to swing into action.
ÔÇØThey attacked and injured four of the passengers in the early hours of Sunday but the men of Amotekun arrived at the scene after they got information about the attack.

"They engaged the gunmen and one of them was arrested but four of the passengers had already sustained injuries,ÔÇØ he said.

Confirming the attack, Amitolu Shittu, the Osun Amotekun Field Commander stated that one of the gunmen had been apprehended.

He also added that the four passengers who were injured during the attack were currently receiving medical treatment.
