How Media Brought My Brand To 'Ground Zero' - Singer Blackface

Nigerian singer, Ahmedu Augustine, popularly known as Blackface, has stated that the media has brought his brand to ground zero.

The member of the now-defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz, in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo in his show, #WithChude.

In his words, "The media has succeeded in bringing the brand Blackface Naija to ground zero.ÔÇØ

Blackface added, "No Nigerian or any award has given me one award. I'm the one they don't want to talk about but it's all good.

"I came into the music industry to make music for the fans. I did not come to the industry because I wanted to get rich.

"But as far as the people embrace the music, then who cares?

"I don't worry about the media. I just make music for them. I talk about it; creepy agents everywhere. They are all creepy agents and I make music with them.ÔÇØ

Blackface was known to have an age-long beef with his former group member, 2baba.

However, the defunct group members, 2face Blackface, and Faze reunited and squashed their beef few months ago during the tribute service for popular singer, late Olanrewaju Fasasi, fondly known as Sound Sultan.

Plantashun Boiz was the rave of music industry during the late 90s and early 20s till they broke up in 2004.
