I Got Intimately Involved With A Lady -Gospel Artist Sammie Okposo Finally Confesses

Popular award winning gospel artist, Sammie Okposo, has tendered a public apology for getting intimately involved with a woman who isn't his wife.

The Nigerian International singer on his Instagram handle on Tuesday, January 25, confessed to have had an intimate affair with a lady while on a trip in the US sometime in 2021.

Okposo apologized to his wife Ozioma for bringing her shame while announcing of his suspension from active service to enable him seek for God's forgiveness.
The father of one wrote;

"on My recent trip to the USA (late 2021, I got intimately involved with a lady knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel. I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife Ozioma, my family and I.

"As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking for His forgiveness,I am suspending myself from a ministry work until full restoration as this what is proper ans what I know I owe God and His people".

Okopso's public apology is coming hours after an American woman called African Doll accused him of impregnating and abandoning her in Texas.

African Doll had on Monday told a YouTuber, Obodo Naija TV that she met Okposo in America when he went to perform.
She revealed that they had an affair which she later discovered that she was pregnant but Okposo asked her to abort the pregnancy.
