Ikpeazu Bans Keke Operation After 7pm In Abia | READ IN FULL

The Abia state governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has banned tricycle (Keke Napep) operators from operating in the state once it is 7pm.

A statement released on Thursday, by Barrister Chris Ezem, Secretary to Abia State Government, said the governor gave approval for Keke operators to operate from 6am to 7pm daily, to check the rising criminal activities being perpetrated by "unpatriotic tricycle operators in the State."

Following incessant report on rising wave of crime perpetrated by some unpatriotic tricycle ( KEKE) operators in the State.

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D has approved the immediate ban on KEKE operation in the State from 7pm to 6am daily till further notice.

Security Agencies in the State are to arrest, detain and prosecute defaulters.
