Insecurity In Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Will Be Tackled Before December - Amobi Ogah Vows
The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal constituency, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, has assured his constituents that he is fighting so hard to ensure that the issue of insecurity, kidnapping in that axis is tackled.

Ogah in an interaction with the media expressed confidence that insecurity which has lasted for so long in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi will be a forgotten case by December, 2023.

He reiterated his campaign promises to tackle insecurity, attract employment opportunities, good roads and other basic amenities to ensure that his people are happy.

Ogah also hinted that the ad-hoc committee set up by the House of Representatives to interface with security agencies on tackling the issue of insecurity in his constituency following a motion he moved, had a public hearing on Monday.

"One of the key campaign promises I made is reducing insecurity in my place. The little time I've been here, one of the first motions I moved was the issue of incessant attacks in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi which by the special grace of God, the House deemed it fit to set up an ad-hoc committee which had a public hearing today.

"Over time, insecurity has been an issue in my place. At a point, my people don't travel anymore. One of my promises to them is that Nigeria must hear what we are passing through, and today, they have heard about it.

"Outside the issue of insecurity, I promised them that I will use my office as their representative to provide employment, good roads, hospitals and other social amenities that they need. By the time we finish tackling the issue of insecurity, which I believe before December this year, the issue of insecurity will be a forgotten story in my constituency."

The Rep member noted that security is the primary need of his constituents which is why he is still working to ensure that the people are happy while others are on recess.
