Why I Withdrew My Son From Public School- El-Rufai Makes U-Turn | READ DETAILS
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has made a U-turn by withdrawing his son, Abubakar Al-Sadiq from a public school.

Recall that El-Rufai had in 2019 announced that in a bid to support the Education system in the state, he enrolled his son into Kaduna capital school.

Explaining his decision on Thursday, February 24, during the weekly ministerial briefing organized by the Presidential Communications Team at the State House, Abuja, the governor said he withdrew his son for fear of kidnap .

"I took my child to public school because we want to show that we believe in the quality of public education which we all got and that I had to pull my son out because some people wanted to mount a special operation to kidnap him. I don't think they will succeed, but it will put other children at risk.'
