ABUJA - Amid swirling rumours and online speculations about the health of Nigeria's Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, a reliable insider has revealed the true situation surrounding his sudden trip to the United Kingdom for medical attention.

According to credible information monitored by All Facts Newspaper and originally reported by Vanguard, Mr. Edun is currently in London for medical consultation following a brief health concern - but contrary to social media claims, he did not collapse or suffer a stroke.

A source close to the minister confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu personally approved Edun's medical leave after speaking with him directly two days before his trip.

"The latest reports circulating on social media are exaggerated. He travelled by himself from Abuja to Lagos, and then flew to the UK on a British Airways commercial flight to consult his doctors," the insider disclosed.

The source clarified that the minister was not rushed out of the country as earlier reported but simply felt "unwell" during a meeting in his office and decided to seek treatment abroad as a precautionary measure.

"He did not suffer a stroke. He simply felt unwell and wanted to rest and get checked by his doctors. His condition is not serious - he travelled alone on commercial flights," the source said.
