IPOB (Anambra): Sit-At-Home Order Turns Violent, Lives Lost, Cars Destroyed In Nnewi

The Monday, August 9 sit-at-home order given by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), turned violent in Nnewi, Anambra state, as two persons are feared dead and cars destroyed.

Speaking to the Nations, residents of the community, said they woke up to see the two lifeless bodies at Izuchukwu junction.
Three buses were reportedly set ablaze in the industrial city of the state while a Toyota Camry vehicle was seen abandoned along the street with the driver said to have fled.

"We couldn't believe our eyes when we came out to see two lifeless bodies of young men. Yet, nobody could explain who was responsible.ÔÇØ
When contacted, the spokesperson of the state police command, Tochukwu Ikenga said;
