Mr. Obinna Oriaku while featuring in an online Zoom program "THE UNCENSORED TRUTH" went on to say " We are in a state where one man runs the whole affairs of the state and dictates all that happens in the state without anyone rising up to question the suitability of his decision and choices for all Abians, the State House of Assembly members are paid in the tune of millions(about N3M each) just to ensure they smoothly pass annual budgets. The Abia House of Assembly also receives N140M as overhead expenditures per month whereas the Enugu House of Assembly receives N36M per month"
Also worthy of note According to him is that " An average House of Assembly member receives about N9M to N10M as take home on monthly basis. This is different from other benefits while the monthly take-home of an average lawmaker in Ebonyi State is roughly N1M." This allegations is viewed by Hon. Obinna Ichita as malicious and an attempt to tarnish his image since he has been a member of several Committees in the House including the Committee responsible for perusing and evaluating the budget among others.
KenNwankwo and Associate representing Hon. Obinna Ichita according to the letter believed Mr. Obinna Oriaku intentionally made those publication even when he knew them to be untrue thereby presenting Hon. Obinna Ichita as a corrupt public office holder with an intent to denigrate and redicule him as well as bring public hatred against him and his office .
