JUST IN: LASU develops COVID-19 self test APP (READ DETAIL)

The Computer Science department of the Lagos State University (LASU) has come up with a Do It Yourself (DIY) test for COVID-19.

A statement from the University noted that the test would be available from Tuesday next week.

The statement reads: "As part of the efforts of Lagos State University to create awareness to the general public on the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Department of Computer Science, Lagos State University has developed a mobile app to enable individuals to do a self test for COVID-19.

"This innovation was led by Professor Benjamin Aribisala. Other team members are Dr. Oluwatoyin Enikuomehin, Mr. Olusola Olabanjo and Abdulazeez Saheed, and
Dr. Abdulazeez Anjorin of Microbiology Department.
