MultiChoice Announces BBNaija Season 10 Premiere, Grand Prize [See Details]

Fans of the widely watched reality television show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), can gear up for another exciting season as MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that Season 10 will premiere on July 26, 2025.

The platform disclosed that the latest edition will commence with a double launch.

All Facts News reports that at a media briefing held on Wednesday, organisers revealed that the winner of this year's edition will go home with a jaw-dropping 150 million, the highest prize in the show's history since its debut in 2006.
Ebuka Returns as Host
Popular show host and media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will once again anchor the show, continuing his longstanding role since 2017.

Speaking at the event, Ebuka expressed excitement about the upcoming season, noting that BBNaija has grown into a cultural phenomenon.

"It's been an incredible journey. We've had 197 housemates, 709 days of broadcast, and 637 million in total prize money awarded, he said.

All Facts News reports that last year's edition, themed "No Loose GuardÔÇØ, introduced a new twist by having contestants audition in pairs and enter the house as duos.

However, as the show progressed, the pairs were split, and each contestant competed individually.

That edition ended with Kellyrae, a married contestant, emerging winner and making history as the first married housemate to win BBNaija. She walked away with the then-record 100 million prize.

For Season 10, MultiChoice brought back physical auditions, which were held across selected venues between May 16 and 18, a return to the traditional format after several virtual audition rounds in previous years.

According to the organisers, this year's edition promises more drama, twists, and electrifying entertainment, with several surprises in store for fans and housemates alike.

Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, Busola Tejumola, described this year's BBNaija as the "biggest and boldest yet,ÔÇØ saying the company is committed to giving viewers premium entertainment.

"We've pulled out all the stops to make this a memorable season. From production quality to content delivery, BBNaija Season 10 will surpass all expectations,ÔÇØ she said.
