The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has revealed the myths and facts on the fifth Generation (5G) network.

The NCC is the Independent Regulatory Authority for the telecoms industry in Nigeria.

According to the Commission, the myth on the proposed 5G network is that the 5G network is not needed in the country.

Ruling out the myth, the NCC gave fact about the 5G network as;

"Nigeria is experiencing exponential growth in connectivity demands as such, 5G would play a vital role in meeting this demand and accelerate digital economy transformation and growth."
