Nigeria At 60: Nigeria has the ability to solve its own problems - Hon. Ossy

Ossy made this statement in a goodwill message to Nigerians, marking the 60th independence anniversary. He said Nigeria as a country has the ability to solve its own problem.

Accepting that Nigeria has been confronted with different challenges since independence, Ossy said the nation's problems would be over if Nigerians confront those challenges in the most sincere way by adhering to the laws of the land.

He also applauded the doggedness of Nigerians in the face of Covid-19 pandemic that ravaged most parts of the world. He assured Nigerians of Lawmakers commitment towards a better Nigeria even as he promised that all laws and policies would be formulated based on the needs of the citizens.

Hon. Ossy also assured his constituents that the struggle to ensure that Aba is fully an independent commercial city is a process that cannot be relented on. He promised that it must get to the point where the deepening of the commercial and entrepreneurial spirit that is very tangible in Aba becomes part of our everyday concern. He also appreciated the Federal government for the Ease of Doing Business model which he believes will favour the good people of Aba on the long run.

The lawmaker also promised Nigerians of working together with the executive arm towards an effective and result- oriented government, equally stating that the oversight functions of the National Assembly would not be compromised.
