NIGERIAN IDOL: DJ Sose Breaks Silence On His Absence In Season 7 | DETAILS

Nigerian-Hungarian Disk Jokey, Thomas Amar-Aigbe, popularly known as DJ Sose, who was a judge on the season 6 edition of The Nigerian Idol, has revealed why he is no longer a part of this year's singing reality show.

Season 6 of the show had Seyi Shay, DJ Sose, and Obi Asika as judges. However, it came as a surprise to many who anticipated the season 7 edition when it was reveled that two out of three judges of last season would not be returning this year. Seyi Shay and DJ Sose were off the show and then replaced with Simi and D'banj.

In an appearance on TVC's Wake Up Nigeria, DJ Sose was asked on what must have been the reason for his exclusion from this year's edition.

He responded;
"I did my part (laughs) I did my part. It was finished. Obviously the contract was for one year. So it came and went and they said they want to take the show to the next level. No bad blood. Everyone's moved on. Everything is cool. Good luck to everyone else on the show. We'll see what happens."
