BREAKING: NLC Fixes Date To Commence Nationwide Strike Over Fuel Subsidy
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has threatened to embark on a nationwide strike from Wednesday, June 7, 2023 over the removal of fuel subsidy.
The National President of the NLC, Joe Ajaero, made this known during a press briefing in Abuja on Friday.

The Congress said it will embark on strike if the government fails to reverse the new pump price for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as fuel.

This comes amid fuel shortages across the country occasioned by President Bola Tinubu's inaugural speech, in which he declared that "fuel subsidy is goneÔÇØ.

Currently, fuel sells at N500 and above across all the states of the federation including NNPC petrol stations.
