Nwafor's Billboard Removal: Because Of Poor Performance, We Now Look Desperate In Abia - Megwara Chides PDP

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Abia state, Hon. Kingsley Megwara has advised relevant authorities to allow all political parties and their candidates fly their billboards ahead of the 2023 general elections without harassment.

Megwara's admonition is coming on the heels of reactions trailing the pulling down of Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor, the Young Progressives Party (YPP)'s guber candidate's billboard located at at Umudike Junction by Aba road in Umuahia, the capital city.

The chieftain wrote;

"Because of our poor performance in Abia state, we now look very desperate. We must allow other political parties billboards in Abia state and allow the electorates to decide our fate at the appropriate time".

Meanwhile, information made available to AFNEWS has it that Enyinnaya Nwafor's team paid Abia State Signage & Advertisement Agency (ABSAA) the mandatory fee for his billboard, yet it was pulled down.
