Uche Ogah: We Are Ready To Drive PDP Out Of Govt House - APC

Following the Friday, November 11, 2022 court judgement upholding Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah as the authentic governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Abia State, the party has assured of it's readiness to move the state to a better position.

Addressing newsmen in Umuahia, the Acting publicity secretary of Abia APC, Honorable Ofor Okorie, described the court's judgement as a landslide victory, noting that the court has proven that it still remains the last hope of the common man.

"Court has declared him (Ogah) winner today, and has ordered INEC to change whosoever's name that was fraudulently inputted on INEC's list to Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah's name.

" We are out to take Abia state to the next level; we are here to make Abia state better; we are ready to change Abia" Okorie said.

He recalled that the National Working Committee of the APC had approved a direct primary election to know the people's choice "but some people went fraudulently behind the doors to conduct indirect primary ".

Okorie called on factional members of the party to identify with Ogah to move the state forward.

" We are offering them olive leaf to come and join us in building Abia state because we must as a matter of urgency, drive PDP out of the government house " he said.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja declared Ogah, a former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, as the duly elected Governorship Candidate of the APC in Abia State.

The court sacked High Chief Ikechi Emenike who was recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as the party's governorship candidate for the March 11, 2023 election.

Recall that INEC had in October, published Emenike's name as the APC candidate following an Appeal Court judgment affirming an earlier ruling of the Abia State High Court which declared Emenike as the authentic governorship candidate of the APC.
