In a politically charged atmosphere at the Isuikwuato Local Government Multipurpose Hall, Mbalano, Abia Arise on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, inaugurated a new seven-member executive to drive its operations at the grassroots level. The move is part of a larger statewide campaign aimed at galvanizing support for Governor Alex Otti's ongoing transformation of Abia State - and possibly his 2027 re-election ambition.

Speaking during the event, the State Chairman of Abia Arise, Hon. Nkem Okoro, delivered an unapologetically bold message to the new executives. He appreciated the outgoing team for their hard work in the 2023 elections and declared that the newly inaugurated officers must now act as "evangelistsÔÇØ of the good governance being delivered under Governor Alex Otti's leadership.

"This is not just an appointment, it is a call to action,ÔÇØ Okoro stated. "Abia Arise is the catalyst for converting everyone to support the governor. Our target is total political evangelism. The event climaxed with the swearing-in of a new seven-man executive team led by LGA Coordinator Okoronkwo Emmanuel Obialor, who delivered a passionate and visionary inaugural speech.

Obialor declared that the inauguration signaled not just the formation of a political structure but the continuation of a people-driven movement. "We are here to ensure that the vision of empowerment, development, and transparency reaches every ward, village, and home in Isuikwuato,ÔÇØ he said.

Adding to the voices of support, the Mayor of Isuikwuato LGA, Hon. Chinedu Ekeke, represented by his Chief of Staff, Elizabeth Onyeabo, assured the Abia Arise team of the local government's support.
