PDP Officially Flags Off Presidential Campaign In Akwa Ibom

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has flagged off its presidential campaign in Akwa Ibom State.

Nigeria's major opposition party is currently doing its rally at the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo, the state capital.

Dignitaries in the South-South State include the party's presidential candidate and former Vice President, Akitu Abubakar, his running mate and Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel.
Others include Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed and his Adamawa counterpart, Ahmadu Fintiri, former lawmaker representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye among other top party officials.

Abubakar who was accompanied by his running mate, Okowa, Emmanuel and Mohammed took to his Twitter handle to share some images indicating his arrival in Uyo last night, while expressing his joy.
