Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate and former Governor of Anambra State, has reiterated his commitment to national dialogue and progress following visits to two prominent Nigerian leaders. Obi met with former Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd.), at his Minna residence in Niger State and later visited former President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.

Obi's meeting with General Ibrahim Babangida, popularly known as IBB, was an opportunity for what he described as a fruitful exchange on pressing national matters.

"From Jigawa State, I traveled to Minna, Niger State, to visit a father figure, elder statesman, and leader, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida,ÔÇØ Obi shared on his official X account.

The discussion covered key issues facing Nigeria, with Obi emphasizing the importance of IBB's wisdom and experience in navigating the nation's challenges. He described the retired general as a valuable source of insight and guidance.

After his visit to Minna, Obi returned to Abuja, where he met former President Goodluck Jonathan to continue discussions on critical national issues.
