Photo Story: NCC Board Pays Condolence Visit To Ahmed Joda's Family

The Board members and Management staff of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has paid a condolence visit to the family of the ex-board chairman, late Alhaji Ahmed Joda in Yola, Adamawa state.

The condolence visit to the family was on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

The delegation at the condolence visit include; Professor Adeolu Akande, Chairman, Board of Commissioners, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, of the Commission, alongside other Board members and Management staff of the Commission.

Joda, died on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the age of 91. He was a retired first-class Federal Permanent Secretary, who served as the Chairman, Board of Commissioners of NCC for 10 years, commencing from 2001 when the commercial launch of Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) service started in Nigeria.
