PROFILE OF CHIEF RAYMOND ONYINYE OFOEGBU

Raymond Onyinye Ofoegbu was born on Friday April 14, 1985 in Kaduna State, into the family of Mr James Ejikemeuwa Ofoegbu (JP) and Mrs Ann Chikamnele Ofoegbu, both from Umuebiziem Umuda- Ofeme, Umuhu, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA of Abia State.

As a young boy, Ray as he was fondly called grew in wisdom and intelligence, and as a result of that, he was the toast of everyone because of his promising future he demonstrated as a child.

He started his early education at Amaetiti community School Ofeme, where he obtained his first school leaving Certificate and was one of few children in those days who showcased their high performance of academic excellence and brilliance.

He later attended Secondary Technical School, Ofeme, Ohuhu where he sat for his West African School Certificate Examination and came out with flying colours, before he proceeded to Abia State Polytechnic cum IMT Enugu respectively.

In 2001, he attended Police College Oji river in Enugu State and joined Nigeria Immigration Service as an Assistant Inspector in 2006. Because of his excellence his in discharging his duties, he was among the few that were sent to the United State of America for an official assignment.

In his quest for quality Education, he enrolled to study nursing at Tarrant County College, Dallas Fort -Worth Texas, United State of America in 2017-2020. He has always been thirsty for knowledge, and in his educational pursuit, determination for excellent achievement and positive advancements to a better future, he achieved this goal with Walmart E- Commerce Center and Logistics.

There is a proverbial saying that every man's obligation is to put back into the word at least the equivalent of what he takes out it.

For this reason and more, young Ofeogbu founded Onyinye Ohuhu Humanitarian Aid Foundation, which in a short while, became one of the most vibrant foundations around, with amazing projects channeled towards giving succor to the society. They include establishment of a modern health Center in Ohuhu; rebuilding market and providing funds for development of Ulonna Farm Settlement for more food supplies as well as agro expansion.

The Onyinyechi Ohuhu Foundation has been working hard to put smiles on the faces of our people through free medical services, delivery of many wrappers to widows of Ohuhu and paid for the WAEC /NECO and JAMB examinations for Abia sons and daughters.

He distributed laptops to some under graduates and encouraged many without JAMB in his community through counseling and financial support to go back and do the needful.

He graded many roads and reconstructed his community School field singlehandedly, just to mention but few.

He is the Chief sponsor of Amaetiti Unity Cup up to date, dishing out a whopping 1 million naira for winners and other consolation prizes.

A philanthropist to the core, A helper of the down trodden and a breath to the future, Raymond always seek to promote the warfare of others especially by the generous donations of money to good courses.

In the words of Herbert Switzer, "the only ones among you who are really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve". Raymond Onyinye Ofeoegbu serves, he is supportive and a help to the helpless.
