Security Operatives Take Over Enugu Airport For Fear Of NANS | READ DETAILS
At Akanu Ibiam International Airport earlier today, at about 7:00am, there was a heavy presence of security operatives following the planned 5 million man march by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) over the lingered Strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in Enugu.

The operatives also took to the NNPC junction Abakiliki Road, Emene Enugu to barricade it against the protesters that were to take that route to the airport. It was said that they were to converge there before proceeding to the airport.

The students who had been mobilising on social media platforms after the expiration of the nine-day ultimatum for the federal government and the ASUU to resolve the matter were yet to be seen as at the time this report was filed.
