President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has conferred national honours on several distinguished Nigerians both living and deceased in recognition of their significant contributions to Nigeria's democratic journey.

President Tinubu also conferred the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) on Uncle Sam Amuka Pemu, a veteran journalist and publisher, in celebration of his upcoming 90th birthday on June 13.
