Victor Osimhen follows Bruno Fernandes move as he turns down 1.5b weekly to hand Man Utd boost
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in recent weeks, but the player has now turned down a mouthwatering offer from Al Hilal.
Despite reports suggesting Osimhen was close to a move to Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, the Napoli striker has reportedly rejected the move and the opportunity to earn as much as 45 million euros (1.5 billion) per week.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen remains keen on contuining his career in Europe and have rejected Al Hilal's latest proposal.

Osimhen becomes the second high profile player to reject a big-money offer from Al Hilal, following Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, who turned down a mega offer last week.

It will be interesting to see where Osimhen ends up, but he will not be short of options, and this will be a boost to Manchester United, in particular, who are desperate for offensive reinforcements.

Galatasaray remain firmly in the race as they look to continue the fruitful union after last season's loan spell saw Osimhen deliver 37 goals in 41 appearances.

The 26-year-old is regarded as one of the best strikers in world football, and many feel his talents will be wasted in the Saudi league.

Former Nigeria captain Mikel Obi recently urged Osimhen to remain in Europe, saying, "I don't want to see Osimhen in Saudi right now because he still has so much to offer in Europe.
