Residents of Kubwa, Bwari, Dede, Dutse, Kaigini, and others, have been hit with water scarcity following the break down of the water dam.

According to some residents, they either patronize water traders at the rate of 250 Naira per keg or join an unending queues at public boreholes.

Other residents said they have resorted to getting water from the streams as a result of the scarcity.

Meanwhile, the Federal Capital Territory Water Board, last week, appealed to residents to tarry pending when repair and maintenance work are carried out on the Usama Dam Treatment Plant.
