We Have Recovered N30b From Ex- AGF Ahmed Idris - EFCC Says
Out of the N109billion siphoned by the suspended Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF), Ahmed Idris, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has recovered N30Billion.

The EFCC Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, while speaking at the 62nd Ministerial Media Briefing organised by the Presidential Communications Team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday, said;

"On the case of the former Accountant General of the Federation Idris Ahmed, we at the EFCC have recovered N30 billion from himÔÇØ.

Recall that Idris and his co-defendants; Godfrey Olusegun Akindele, Mohammed Usman and Gezawa Commodity Market and Exchange Limited, are facing 14 count corruption charge at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in Maitama, Abuja. Justice J.O Adeyemi-Ajayi, however granted them bail on July 28, 2022.
