Popular musician David Adeleke aka Davido has revealed why his French teacher told him he would never make it in life.

He recalled that as a young school kid, his French teacher once told him he would not succeed.

The "E ChokeÔÇØ crooner said: "Life is fast, I have been doing this continuously since I was 16 years old.

"Of course, I have had to cry, not even about losing my friends alone. I cry about different situations. It comes and goes.
"On my birthday, I cried. I know how bad my grades were.
"In school, I was like the most unlikely to succeed type of student.

"In secondary school, my French teacher told me I won't be anything in this life. I won't lie I was a bad kid with good intentionsÔÇØ.
