Speaking in Onitsha, Anambra State, on Saturday, Obi argued that many young Nigerians who engage in online scams possess a high level of intelligence and creativity that could transform the nation - if properly harnessed and guided.

"Some of our so-called Yahoo boys are geniuses who need redirection, not condemnation,ÔÇØ Obi stated.

The former governor of Anambra State lamented the failure of leadership in creating the right environment for young minds to channel their intelligence into productive ventures. He noted that the same skills used in sophisticated cybercrimes could be deployed to create startups, tech solutions, and innovations that could rival global tech giants like Google, Meta, or Apple.

Obi emphasized that true wealth is not measured by money, but by character, integrity, and purpose. He urged Nigerian youths to focus on building value-driven legacies that uplift others, promote education, and reduce poverty.
