Oisakede highlighted that shisha contains hard drugs, which can lead to addiction, particularly among unsuspecting young women. "Yes, they will tell you what they are taking does not contain drug, but these unsuspecting ladies don't realize they are gradually getting addicted to hard drugs," he explained. "It will get to a point where if they don't take it, they will not feel normal, as addiction must have set in."
Furthermore, the PSN chairman warned about the health risks associated with sharing pipes, which can transmit diseases such as hepatitis and other viral infections. "Through sharing of shisha ropes, diseases such as hepatitis and other viral ones can be transmitted," he noted.
Oisakede's warning serves as a critical reminder of the hidden dangers of shisha smoking, urging individuals to quit the habit to protect their health and well-being.
