Why We Banned 'No Gree For Anybody' Slogan - Nigeria Police Explains
The Nigeria Police Force has banned the popular 2024 slogan mostly used by Nigerian youths on social media. "no gree for anybody."
The ban on the 'no gree for anybody" slogan was announced on Wednesday, by the Nigeria Police Force PRO, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, during a press conference in Abuja.

The slogan is mostly used to encourage people not to give up n pursuing their dreams or allow anyone intimidate them.

However, the police is of the opinion that the slogan is capable of inciting violence, especially against security personnel.
Following the ban, Nigerians on social media rejected the police's school of thought on the slogan.

Clarifying further, Adejobi on his X handle on Thursday night, wrote;
"Police are in the best position to advise and educate Nigerians on possible early warning signs of an impending danger as a civil and people-oriented institutionÔÇØ.

"Do not take the 2024 slogan for granted. Do not abuse the slogan and capitalise on it to be attacking security operatives while discharging their duties.

"Be reasonable with the slogan, sue for, and embrace peace anywhere you find yourself, even at home. It is well with our dear countryÔÇØ.
