Why Wike Must Be In Tinubu's Government - Fayose Reveals | READ DETAILS
A former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose has said that he wants the immediate past Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike to be a member of President Bola Tinubu's cabinet.

Fayose advised Wike and other members of the G5 governors of PDP to accept any appointment offered to them by Tinubu's Administration, adding that he would do same if he gets the opportunity.

He noted that Tinubu must appreciate the members of the G5 for the role they played in his victory at the 2023 presidential election.

They are; Nyesom Wike (Rivers); Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Samuel Ortom (Benue), and the current governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde.
Appearing on Channels Television's Sunday Programme 'Politics Today, Fayose said;

"I don't want to be a minister but if Asiwaju says 'Fayose, you will be minister' and I agree, what is their headache?

"I want Wike to be in the cabinet. Wike has what it takes to serve Nigeria. Wike is an articulate, capable person. If Asiwaju finds him or any of the G5 worthy, please serve in Asiwaju's government.ÔÇØ
