Pastor Tunde Bakare, a 2023 presidential aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have described the major opposition, People's Democratic Party (PDP), as a dead political party in the country.

Bakare said this while fielding questions from journalists, on Monday, at the presidential screening of the APC.

"I have appeared before the screening committee and I am very confident in the race and said to them that I will assemble the best, brightest and fittest from within the country, North, East, South, outside the country. The time has come for us to raise the foundation for many generations, to restore the path of greatness and to ensure that our nation soars again" he said.
