2023: Top Northern Politician Endorses Tinubu For President, Vows To Fight If...

A well-known Kano politician, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, A A Zaura has vowed to fight like a Lion to ensure Asiwaju Bola Tinubu becomes the next president of Nigeria if the All Progressives Congress (APC) eventually zones its 2023 presidential ticket to the south.

The politician who explained that his relationship with Tinubu is beyond politics added that the APC National Leader deserves the nation's number one political seat.

In his words, "I will fight like a lion to ensure that Bola Ahmad Tunubu Becomes President if power is agreed on principles to be shifted to the south, best on my belief that Tunubu deserves the exalted seat more than any other person.ÔÇØ

A A Zaura who made the submission while speaking with newsmen in Kano added that Tinubu had been a mentor to him even before he decided to join the APC.

All Facts News understands Zaura has his eyes on the Kano governorship seat once Abdullahi Ganduje completes his tenure and used the opportunity to clarify that Tinubu is not the one sponsoring his ambition.

He added that he had the opportunity to become the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party during the 2015 governorship election in his state but he refused because he didn't want anybody to be in a godfather position in his political career.

He advocated that all politicians contesting any seat must have what they do as a means of survival first so they won't be tempted to steal from the public treasury when they eventually get into power.

"People's are insinuating that Bola Tunubu is behind my candidature, and continue to dig to know my relationship with him, forgetting that my relationship with him is per beyond party politics because he is just like a father to me, this is because in 2019 general elections he was in APC and I was in GNP and yet we sat together to discuss issues of national importance,ÔÇØ AA Zaura explained.

"If I'm desperate, as been asserted by those who don't know me, in 2015 Kwankwaso wanted me to join PDP so that he will make me Governor but I said no I was not interested, my interest is to play Politics without any link to anybody, that is selfless Politics and that was why I was in GNP.

"As a young vibrant politician, he believes that anybody who is contesting any political seat must have something as a business so that when he is elected he will not see public treasury as personal and he will strive just the way he is striving on his personal business to build not to steal.

"My evolution in politics is that politics that would completely change the way of doing things, be it education, economy, even the politics itself, we must adopt a global way of doing things, we must make our education to compete with how pupils are taught globally on slides, not the usual blackboards and so on and so on,ÔÇØ he added.

AA Zaura believes Governor Ganduje has done well in ensuring peace prevails in Kano, saying what needs to be done by his successor is to build on the security by bringing in investors and make the economy boom for the residents.
