Aba North/South: Late Prestige Ossy's Brother Joins The Race With AA |SEE PHOTOS

The Abia State Chapter of the Action Alliance led by the state chairman of the party, Hon. Tony Chibuko Ojih together with the support of the party L.G.A chairman for Aba North and Aba South as well as the party stakeholders and supporters have adopted Dr. Okey Prestige who is the immediate brother of the late Honorable Ossy Prestige to replace him in the Aba North/South Federal Constituency seat.

Hon. Tony Chibuko Ojih opined that the great gap left by Ossy Prestige cannot be filled by anyone else except the person who is close to him and can follow in his legacies hence the party deeming it fit to adopt his brother Dr. Okey Prestige as the party's flag bearer in the election coming up soon.

Making his intentions formerly known to the party, Dr. Okey Prestige said that he is the 7th son of his family and also the closest to his late brother.

He stated that his intentions to run for his late brother's position was so that he will continue in his legacies which he promised he will not fail if he has victory in the coming election.

He expressed his resoluteness to run for the seat at the green chambers under Action Alliance despite being denied the opportunity in the All Progressive Grand Alliance.

In his statement, he accused the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Aba of ingratitude saying that despite what Ossy Prestige did for them, they sat still and allowed elections to be fixed at a time his brother hasn't been buried which is against the constitution.

"There's no other person that knows Ossy Prestige better than I do and no one can tow the path of his visions for Aba people than I will because I have been part of my brother's success story in politics. We worked from the background and has been working together that way till his demise to bring to Aba people what they are enjoying now", he said.
