ABIA 2023: Elias Calls On Ohuhu Clan To Support Chinedum Orji's Governorship Aspiration |SEE PHOTOS

A Chieftain of Peoples Democratic party, in Ohuhu area of Umuahia, Prince Emeka Elias has called on the entire Ohuhu clan to give support to the speaker of Abia state House of Assembly, Rt Honorable Engr. Chinedum Orji, if peradventure he comes out to contest for the governorship seat of the state.

He made this call in his Umuagungilori-Afugiri residence where a mammoth crowd of PDP members and others converged to respond to an invitation he extended through the media to all Ohuhu indigenes.

He also disclosed that the seat for House of Representatives was zoned to Ohuhu clan, urging for a support to anyone that will be selected by the people of Ohuhu to contest for the position when the time comes.
He said that on the governorship race, Engr. Orji has the power, capacity, connection and finances to engage in the battle come 2023.

In his exact words, the party Chieftain said, "Peradventure our brother Eng Chinedum Orji comes out to contest for Governorship seat of Abia state, Ohuhu people should give him support .

"The seat for House of Rep. this time is Zoned to Ohuhu clan, so anybody that Ohuhu people select to go and represent them, you people should also support the person,that is the reason why I called this meeting.

"The reason is that Rt Hon, Engr. Chinedum Orji has what it takes to contest for governorship position, he has the power, capacity, connections and finances to engage in that battles because it is a battle one cannot fight without the above listed qualities. It is not a battle you engage in with empty handsÔÇØ. he stated.
Most of the PDP stalwarts in Ohuhu clan were at the meeting, including a two time House of Assembly member, Hon Chief Emeka Ejiogu(Ohamadike), PDP state Treasurer,Prince Ben Okezie, one time Umuahia North LGA Chairman, Chief Chidiebere Nwachukwu, current House of Assembly member in Ohuhu, Hon. Kelechi Onuzurike,
