In a bold step towards driving international investment and sustainable development, Abia State took the spotlight at a high-level Business Dinner hosted in Abuja on Monday, September 1st, 2025. The event, convened by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, was held in honor of the visiting Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Mr. Rami Ahmad.

Representing Governor Alex Otti at the prestigious gathering was Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Chief Liaison/National Assembly Liaison Officer, who emphasized Abia State's readiness to work closely with global financial institutions to transform its economy.

Speaking at the Islamic Development Bank event, Hon. Chinasa restated Governor Otti's unwavering commitment to building a modern and business-friendly Abia, while creating opportunities that stimulate industrial growth and job creation. He noted that the administration's economic transformation agenda requires strong international partnerships, stressing that Abia remains open for collaborations that would deepen industrialization and promote sustainable development.

"We are committed to creating an enabling environment for investors and development partners. With Governor Otti's vision, Abia State is ready to collaborate with institutions like the Islamic Development Bank to deliver meaningful projects that directly impact the lives of our people,ÔÇØ Chinasa told participants.
