The Forum of All Progressives Congress (APC) state chairmen has unveiled its strategy to counter the upcoming August 1 hunger protest. In a press conference held on Monday in Abuja, the forum's Secretary, Alphonsus Eba, announced plans for solidarity rallies across all political wards, local governments, state capitals, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Eba emphasized that the rallies aim to re-echo the laudable projects and programs of President Bola Tinubu, showcasing the administration's efforts and achievements. "The violent protest being contemplated by the faceless group, as outlined in their charter of demand, threatens to undermine the democratic principles to which all political parties subscribe,ÔÇØ Eba stated. He acknowledged the current challenges facing the nation but expressed optimism for a better future through President Tinubu's policies and initiatives.

Eba outlined the forum's plan, stating, "From today, July 29, to August 11, 2024, we will embark on a peaceful rally to highlight the commendable projects and programs of President Tinubu. This initiative will involve all structures of our party across political wards, local government areas, and state capitals, including Abuja FCT. Our goal is to protect and defend our democracy from any attack by hoodlums or criminal elements who aim to incite violent protests.ÔÇØ

The APC state chairmen are determined to conduct these rallies in a civil manner, sensitizing innocent and peace-loving Nigerians about the intentions of failed politicians seeking power through illegitimate means.
