Battle for Abia North: "Weeping Men Cannot Stop Change" - Team Bourdex Replies OUK's Allies

Team Bourdex has fired a sharp rebuttal at Orji Uzor Kalu's allies, dismissing their defense of OUK as the "lamentation of weeping men." The statement insists Abia North deserves fresh leadership in 2027.

Umuahia, Abia State - The political tempo in Abia North is rising sharply as 2027 draws near, with fresh verbal missiles exchanged between camps loyal to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK) and political heavyweight Chief Ogba Onuoha (Bourdex).

In a fiery rebuttal titled "A Weeping Man's Lament", Hon. Prince Nmaju Uduka Nmaju, Media Head of Team Bourdex, dismissed the recent open letter by Hon. Chief Emenike Okorie (Omenma) as nothing more than "the cries of a drowning man terrified of change."

Omenma, who parades himself as "Coordinator of Grassroots Leaders," had earlier defended Orji Uzor Kalu's political dominance while attacking Bourdex. But Prince Nmaju Uduka hit back, accusing him of being nothing more than a "megaphone for OUK's propaganda."

"Rather than engage issues of development, vision, and leadership capacity, Omenma resorts to insults, name-calling, and fabricated tales - the last refuge of men who know their cause is lost," Uduka wrote.

He went further to question Orji Uzor Kalu's record, pointing out that Abia North still lags behind in infrastructure, education, and healthcare despite decades of Kalu's political dominance.

"If OUK's performance is as golden as his praise-singers claim, why does Abia North remain underdeveloped while other zones have moved forward?" he queried.

On Bourdex, Prince Nmaju insisted that the business mogul and philanthropist does not need to "ride on anyone's back" to contest in 2027. He cited his records in business success, community development, and philanthropy, while describing his call for voter registration as a patriotic reminder that "power belongs to the people, not to dynasties."

The rebuttal concluded on a bold note, declaring that Abia North is ready for fresh leadership and that no amount of propaganda can stop the collective will of the people in 2027.

"So let the weeping men continue to cry. But history has shown that when the people are ready, change is unstoppable. Abia North will speak loudly in 2027," the statement read.

With both camps sharpening their rhetoric, analysts believe Abia North will be one of the most fiercely contested battlegrounds in the 2027 elections.
