The All Progressives Congress (APC), has finally announced a date for its National Convention.

The ruling party had left the public in suspense on the exact date for the convention as it only announced February 2022, as the proposed month for it.

Speaking at the APC National Women Conference in Abuja on Tuesday, the chairman, Nigeria Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi, announced that the party has fixed February 26, 2022 for the National convention after the Chairman, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, briefed him on the development.
Fayemi charged the party members and its leadership to "use the convention as an opportunity to deliver a more people-oriented policies and reflect on its ideals over the yearsÔÇØ.
