During an interview on Arise Television, Galadima expressed his concerns about the potential impact of federal involvement in Kano's local political matters. He stressed that supporting one faction over another could be detrimental and that chieftaincy titles should remain free from federal influence.

"The federal government and President Bola Tinubu need to be cautious with Kano politics. It will destroy his presidency,ÔÇØ Galadima stated. He emphasized the resilience and determination of Kano's people, noting that historical precedents show the complexity and contentious nature of the region's politics.

Galadima recounted his experiences with Kano politics during his time as a youth leader in the National Party of Nigeria (NPN). He highlighted the persistent disagreements and the influence of powerful local politicians.

"I want to tell the federal government, including my friend, President Bola Tinubu, that he should be mindful of Kano politics, it will destroy his presidency. They never agree on any issue and I have an inherent knowledge of how we dealt with the issue of Kano politics during the NPN,ÔÇØ he added.

Galadima also referenced the ongoing political tension in Kano State, particularly concerning the recent dethronement of the state emirate council. Governor Abba Yusuf recently dethroned Aminu Ado Bayero as Emir of Kano, reinstating Muhammed Sanusi instead. This move has further fueled political unrest in the region.
