Chief Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah Okwun and the goldfish syndrome

The proverbial golden fish that has no hiding place appears to have taken its deep meaning on an Ohafia illustrious sons, Chief Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah Okwun (Onwa Ohafia) whose benevolent altruistic tentacle spreads day after day.

Chief Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah has displayed a distinguished contribution of his talent, time and treasure in promoting peaceable communities, institutions and organisations as well as numerous charitable works that cut across life walks.

Being passionate about humanity, he has donated vigorously cum zealously for benefit of mankind.

Chief Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah is a gem, a welfarist and a rare Nigerian who is very selfless and absolutely committed to fairness, justice and equity. He has contributed immensely to the well-being and improved standard of living of many rural communities through the construction of road (Amangwu-Amaekpu Ohafia road), provision of transformer for power generation, distribution of huge food items, buckets and sanitizers during Covid-19 lockdown to some communities including Ndi Ibe, Amuma, Amaekpu, Ufiele-Aku, Oboro, Ndi Aku and Ndi Uduma ukwu, ongoing Akanu Ukwu Ohafia water project, support the ongoing training of youths in different skills through the National Association of Ohafia Students Worldwide, award of scholarships, to mention but few.

His quiet achievements speaks louder even in an inconspicuous outlook which spreads abroad down to the minutes.

He has thus over the years been very passionate about charity, intervening in many trauma cases, public institutions and creating hope and future for many indigent students.
