Good Morning To The Opposition - Deji Adeyanju Hails Opposition Leaders Defection To ADC
Nigerian activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju has applauded stakeholders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for abandoning the party for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He asserted that it was a bold step in the right direction for opposition figures to come together and battle the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next election.

All Facts News reports that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President David Mark, former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido, and other concerned leaders of the PDP dumped the party on Tuesday.

The PDP stalwarts, who adopted ADC as a platform to wrestle power from President Bola Tinubu in 2027, also called on other members of PDP to join the movement.

Reacting to the development in a Facebook post, Adeyanju praised Atiku, Peter Obi and other opposition members.

He said, "I'm proud of the opposition for coming together finally. Special thanks to Atiku, Obi and other top opposition leaders for putting aside their personal ambition to make this happen.

"I hope Kwankwaso will also do same. This is what they should have done in 2023. Whenever you wake up is your morning. Good morning to the opposition.ÔÇØ
