Delta Govt. Approves Teachers Recruitment, Sets Criteria | READ DETAILS

The Delta State Government has approved the recruitment of teachers in essential subjects into the state's Unified Teaching Service.

Charles Aniagwu, the state's Commissioner for Information, disclosed this on Tuesday, while addressing journalists in Asaba on the outcome of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa's State Executive Council meeting.

Aniagwu stated that the recruitment will not be political, but rather strictly based on individuals passing Computer Based Tests (CBT) in key subject areas.

The Commissioner cited the need to fill vacancies created by retirement, death, and the opening of new schools around the state as reason for the opportunity.
