Deputy Governor Emetu Visits Abia Liaison Office, Reaffirms Government's Commitment to Collaboration

In a renewed drive to deepen government presence, enhance administrative coordination, and strengthen service delivery at the federal level, the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, has paid a strategic working visit to the Abia State Liaison Office in Abuja.

The visit, which comes ahead of the much-anticipated Abia Day Celebration in Abuja, underscores the administration's commitment to improved institutional synergy and effective engagement with Abians residing across the Federal Capital Territory and beyond.

Upon arrival, Engr. Emetu was warmly received by the Chief Liaison Officer, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, alongside key staff members of the office. In his address, the Deputy Governor commended the team for their dedication, noting that the Liaison Office remains a critical link between the State Government and Abians in the diaspora.

He urged the staff to maintain a high level of professionalism, discipline, and performance in carrying out their duties, adding that the image of Abia State in the nation's capital depends largely on the conduct and efficiency of the Liaison Office.

"We must showcase excellence in everything we do,ÔÇØ Engr. Emetu said, encouraging the staff to uphold a renewed sense of purpose as the government continues to pursue developmental reforms. He further emphasized the administration's readiness to deepen collaboration, improve communication structures, and ensure that Abians in the FCT receive timely and efficient services.

The Deputy Governor's visit is part of the state government's broader push to strengthen intergovernmental relations, improve diaspora engagement, and reposition Abia State for greater national visibility.
