Igbos Ready To Take Over Nigeria In 2023 Elections

Prominent Igbos including Ukiwe, Nwodo, Anyim have begun fighting for their region to rule Nigeria in 2023.

These Igbos are looking for the support of Nigerians because they say it is time for the president to emerge from their region.

The Igbo leaders revealed their aspiration at the 6th World Igbo Summit held at the Gregory University Uturu, Abia State over the weekend.

A former military vice president during General Ibrahim Babangida regime, Ebitu Ukiwe (retired), chaired the session yesterday.

Other participants included Nnia Nwodo, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onuh, Anyim Pius Anyim, Iyom Josephine Anenih, and Dr. Ifedi Okwenna.

According to Vanguard, the professors in attendance included Ike Nwachukwu, Joe Irukwu, George Obiozor, Ihechukwu Madubuike, and Greg Ibe.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided that political parties would run in the 2023 general election in southeastern Nigeria, for Igbo to rule.

The group also called for a reform of Nigeria's administration to make progress.
