INEC Expresses Concerns Over Insecurity in Imo and Kogi Ahead of Guber Elections
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has expressed concerns over the security situation in Imo and Kogi States ahead of the forthcoming governorship elections.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER reports that the commission's National Commissioner, Mallam Mohammed Kudu Haruna, raised the concerns during a meeting with media executives in Owerri, the Imo State capital, on Wednesday.

Haruna said that INEC was committed to conducting peaceful and successful elections in the three states but that the prevailing insecurity was a major challenge.

Haruna appealed to all stakeholders, including politicians, security agencies, and voters, to play their roles in ensuring peaceful elections.
