Nigerian Students Protest ASUU Strike In States- | DETAILS/PHOTOS
On the heels of the one month warning strike action embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has staged a protest.

NANS led by their national president, Sunday Asefon, converged on Monday at Unity Fountain in Abuja, carrying placards and other items, chanting songs of solidarity.

The Association had given Federal Government up till Monday February 28 ultimatum to resolve its issue with ASUU.

According to Asefon, the students will match from the fountain to the federal secretariat, before heading to the National Assembly.

Other states where the protest has hit are; Nasarawa, Kano; Jos, Plateau; Niger State; Taraba State; Ekiti; Oyo, etc.
