As part of activities marking his birthday, Dr. Okwun Ojah-the Onwa and Ogbankpu of Ohafia-has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and education through the official launch of the Dr. Okwun Ojah Education Scholarship Award 2.0, a 6 million academic grant specifically targeting Law students from Ohafia.

Unveiled by the Ojah Family Foundation, this second edition of the scholarship scheme is aimed at supporting academically outstanding students who have secured admission to study Law in recognized Nigerian universities.
According to the Foundation, the scholarship reflects Dr. Ojah's passion for giving back to society and strengthening the next generation of legal professionals. "This initiative not only celebrates the life and legacy of our Founder, but also advances our mission to promote equitable access to quality education,ÔÇØ the foundation stated.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be an indigene of Ohafia Local Government Area in Abia State.

Have secured admission into a recognized Nigerian university to study Law.
Be in 100 to 500 Level in accordance with their university academic calendar.
Present two academic references.

For 200 Level and above, candidates must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

For 100 Level students, a minimum CGPA of 3.5 is required.
This scholarship opportunity is a continuation of Dr. Ojah's long-standing philanthropic engagements, which span education, community development, and youth leadership.
