PDP review committee invites memoranda on Taraba bye-election

The People's Democratic Party, PDP, Committee established to review the outcome of the recently concluded bye-election in Karim I, in Karim-Lamido local government council of Taraba State, has called on individuals and groups to submit memoranda detailing their observations and recommendations.In a statement issued on Friday in Jalingo, by David Ishaya Kassa on behalf of the Committee Secretary, the panel urged stakeholders to focus their submissions on the roles played by key actors in the electoral process within the aforementioned local government council.

The committee, according to the statement, is particularly interested in identifying institutional lapses, acts of negligence, or any other factors that may have adversely affected the PDP's performance during the bye-election.

Contributors, the statement said, are also encouraged to propose actionable recommendations aimed at strengthening the party's position in the area and preventing a recurrence of the recent electoral experience.

"All memoranda must be submitted no later than Tuesday next week to the Committee Secretary at Fast Track Hotels, Jalingo,ÔÇØ the statement read.

The committee also emphasized that timely submission will facilitate the completion of its review within the allotted two week timeframe, ensuring the report is ready for presentation to the party leadership as scheduled.
